I dinnae know if this is true but if all of us together could close our eyes tight and wish really bad then we might be able to cause a disturbance in the force field known as good judgment:
Former KNIGHT RIDER star DAVID HASSELHOFF is planning to release a cover of MADONNA's 1980s hit single LA ISLA BONITA. The actor, whose singing talents made him a huge star in Germany, decided to release his latest single for public consumption after being pleased with the outcome after recording it. He says, "It's the one track that gets talked about by my fans, so why not."
Giver, Hasselhoff, just giver. Could he have chosen a better tune to cover? I think not. A part of me is breathing massive sighs of relief knowing that I won't have to hear The Hasselhoff rap in the near future. You never know these days.

While we wait, panting, we can play some Wax Hoff to calm that tingling sensation.

Hasselhoff is a proud part of my German heritage. Every April 9th (Hasselhoff Day) we sit around and watch 24 hours of Baywatch and Knightrider. We eat sauerkraut, sausages and shoot steroids into each others backs. My Uncles take turns using the Hasselhoff brush combing their chest hairs. My Oma tells us stories of the Hasselhoff family and how they ruled a Kingdom in the Southeast during the pre-unification years. We were fortunate enough to clean the Hasselhoff's animal poop. It was quite a high status position.

I am pleased to see that he is no longer limiting himself to his own songs, but to stretch into the realm of Madonna. I do so hope that he covers Three 6 Mafia's "Stay Fly", Oh lord, please let this happen.

David Hasselhoff will always hold a very special place in my heart. He understood the 80s like no other. My fondest childhood memories date back to the time of knight Rider. My brother and I used to play around; he was Hasselhoff and I was Kit, the talking car. Ahhh, those were the days. It was all about David Hasselhoff, Don Johnson, Michael Jackson and Boy George with his mother.

Oooooh. First the Mr. T rap about his mom and now this?? I am re-living my 80s via your blog. I think this is a great idea. In 5th grade I was part of a singing group at school that performed La Isla Bonita in front of all the parents. Years later I visited the REAL La Isla Bonita off the coast of Belize to complete the journey I began in 5th grade.

Hasselhofff, I salute you. ;)
