About Time

IMG_2693

As you may know I have taken Sepia Mutiny up on their offer of becoming a permanent blogger. Thus far I have been treading gently (again), such is the ninja way.

I've been taking great pleasure in reading every comment that passes submit. If this was an addiction before then let's just say the periodic doses have turned into a full on IV.

Yesterday morning, as I prepared my drip with my morning cuppa chai, I was met with news of the Mumbai bombings. My right hand began an sms to my parents, my mind hoping furiously that my family and friends, that everyone was safe. But hundreds were far from it.

As realization sunk in, and with it despair, I began reading the comments in search of reaction other than my own. Anna's updates were wicked and folks went all out to leave emergency information, their own stories from the ground, and their prayers. Certain fucktards tried hard to promote their rubbish agendas and at one point I could barely bring myself to read. But. At the end of the day. I know that if it hadn't been for SM I could've ended yesterday feeling very alone. It is a privilage indeed...

I hope you and yours are safe and well.

Currylingus is back in bidness.
